The California Bar Exam, administered twice a year in February and July, is a 2-day exam consisting of 5 one-hour essays, 1 ninety-minute Performance Test, and the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) of 200 multiple-choice questions.

The passing score is 1390 out of a possible 2000 points.
